Sky News Australia: Using VIVE Mars anyone can make their own virtual TV studio

In Sunday's segment on Sky News Australia (Weekend Edition with Tim Gilbert) we discussed why Drone delivery service - WING - is introducing a new system that could speed up the expansion of home delivery by air.  WING is introducing a Delivery Network - which means the drones can take orders as they come in like a ride-share service. Instead one home base, drones can pick up from many locations, using a new autoloader that means retail staff don’t have to wait for a drone. WING plans to roll out elements of Wing Delivery Network capabilities over the next 12 months. This could be the key for deliveries by drone to take the next step towards mainstream adoption.

MG ANNOUNCES NEW LONG RANGE EV FOR AUSTRALIA

The ZS EV Long Range was on display at FullyCharged Sydney. It is priced at just under $56K with a 440km range. This makes this car more than a runaround town car by edging past 400km in range. It does this thanks to a larger 72kw battery.

MG has fast tracked this model and the MG4 Hatchback to Australia due to massive EV demand. The MG4 could be a runaway best seller - possibly just over $40K. It’s a total EV from the ground up - not a converted existing model.

HTC VIVE XR ELITE CHANGES MY MIND ABOUT VR

After years of boring VR products, at last there’s a headset that makes Virtual Reality exciting again. The XR Elite is great for VR and AR - augmented reality. A completely untethered headset with adjustable focus to fit your vision requirements.

At MWC made a lot of announcements, including VIVERSE for Business.  And using HTC’s tracking system anyone can make their own virtual TV studio. This is Hollywood stuff without the Hollywood price tag. This won my award for best display at MWC23.

IIIF150 RUGGED PHONE IS IDEA FOR ADVENTURERS AND TRADIES

Forget the case .. this phone IS the case. The IIIF150 smartphone range is military grade tough.  They are not chunky like many other rugged phones. They can survive 24 hours under water at a depth of 1.5m or 8 hours at 3m. Cameras were surprisingly good - including an infrared night camera.
