VIVE Mars Presents BEST SHOT! Competition

VIVE Mars presents BEST SHOT! Our first film competition where participants will use VIVE Mars CamTrack on their green screen or LED wall to film their BEST SHOT! Our special guest judges will select the talented winners to receive the Mars FIZTrack and be featured across HTC VIVE social platforms. This competition is exclusively for our social communities like our VIVE Mars Facebook Group.

COMPETITION DATES:

• START: Submissions open Friday, June 30th, 2023, 12:00 AM PST
• DEADLINE: Submissions close Friday, July 21st, 2023, 11:59 PM PST
• WINNERS: Winners will be announced during SIGGRAPH 2023 in Los Angeles, CA

PRIZES:

• 5 Winners will each receive a VIVE Mars FIZTrack

COMPETITION RULES:

• The participant must be at least 18 years of age
• The participant must be a Facebook Group Member (if you don't have Facebook, contact Marsbestshot@vive.com)
• The participant must use VIVE Mars CamTrack
• The participant must use an LED wall or green screen
• The participant must submit 2 files:
  a. BEST SHOT! entry
  b. Behind-The-Scenes entry
• Duration of BEST SHOT! entry must be between 15 seconds - 2 minutes
• Duration of Behind-The-Scenes entry must be between 30 seconds - 3 minutes
• Files must be in .mp4 or .mov format
• Each participant is allowed only one entry
• The participant must include the VIVE 3D Triangle Logo (however big or small) in their shot
  
• The entry must be an original work
• The entry must adhere to Facebook’s Community Standards
• No submissions will be accepted after the deadline

4. Submit a downloadable link for each video file:
   a. BEST SHOT! entry
   b. Behind-The-Scenes entry

JUDGING:‍

Video entries will be reviewed based on the following criteria:​‍

1. Best Cinematography
2. Best Story
3. Most Immersive (Blend of Virtual and Reality)
4. Best Performance
5. Best Behind-The-Scenes
